Transportation officials in two states have announced travel bans for some vehicles ahead of a major winter weather storm. Starting on Wednesday February 2 through Thursday February 3
all triple tractor-trailers all doubles high-profile steel haulers high-profile oversize permit loads are not permitted on the Indiana Toll Road.
The Ohio Turnpike has also issued a Travel Ban for all High-Profile Vehicles. Effective Wednesday, February 2, 2022 through Friday February 4. Not included in the Travel Ban are
self-propelled motor homes, low-profile trailers, fold-down camper trailers, pickup trucks with slide-on camper units, vehicles towing fifth-wheel type trailers, or any other type of
trailers towed by passenger vehicles or pickup trucks. In weather circumstances like this it is advised truck drivers to be commited to a dispatch company in order to go around these
areas and to keep their trucks loaded.
